Collaborative Project Leadership

Led collaborative teams charged with developing, implementing, and evaluating projects and programs in the Oregon and Washington courts. Responsible for all aspects of the process including defining goals and strategies, identifying stakeholders, designing process, scheduling and facilitating meetings, performing supplemental research, developing policies and rules, and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Served non-profit, governmental, and private sector organizations and individuals, from senior-level stakeholders to staff and those impacted by outcomes

Program Implementation & Administration

Developed and managed local and statewide programs at the Oregon Judicial Department. Established and managed budgets; recruited and hired necessary staff and contractors; designed and delivered education and training; created forms, systems, and collateral material; provided outreach and advocacy; designed and monitored compliance tracking; designed evaluations, and assessed the results.

Adult Education & Staff Development

Designed, delivered, and supported court-based training for judges, attorneys, mediators, and court staff statewide on a wide variety of topics, including domestic relations, Americans with Disabilities Act, working with interpreters, diversity, poverty, mediation, ethics, juvenile dependency, juvenile delinquency, adult protective proceedings, civil judgments, criminal procedure, and data coding. Designed and delivered live and online educational workshops for parents.

Research & Analysis

Researched and analyzed state and federal laws and regulations, rules, and policies. Provided reports and recommendations regarding impact of policy options to the Deputy State Court Administrator for Program Operations, State Court Administrator, and Chief Justice of the Oregon Supreme Court.

Communication, Advocacy & Outreach

Served as a featured speaker and delivered workshops at educational and professional conferences statewide representing the mission and ongoing initiatives of the Oregon Judicial Department. Provided legislative testimony and information on behalf of the Oregon Judicial Department. Represented the Judicial Department in collaborations with internal and external stakeholders.

Supervision, Coaching & Mentoring

Supervised volunteer mediators, law clerks, and interns at the Oregon Judicial Department. Recruited, provided initial training and ongoing coaching, and reviewed performance.
